I'm not happy with my fiberglass rear bumper I got foe my Civic I pad 100 bucks plus shipping I guess you get what you pay for(not from ebay) but I really don't know anything about fiberglass and polyurethane bumpers or lips so its gotta be my fault. My fglass bumper sticks out on both side and I don't really know what to do are the eBay bumpers and lips if polyurethane from ebay any good do they bolt rite up or do o have to drill holes. I know now not to get fiberglass ever its not a perfect fit. I'm now looking for a color matched factory rear bumper or (can I get 99-00 si bumper to bolt straight up no mods) also I want the lips for front and rear I'm not sure what they are called please let me know name PR can I get lips from eBay they got toms for good price oh and same question for side skirts from si civic or eBay and what would I search for I've looked under civic lips, si lips but all look same so do I get those or am I searching for wrong items thanks for any help I'm just not getting anywhere I've even look here at parts for sale but no luck thanks CC

Holy run on sentence.
First of all:
96-98 front lips are interchangeable
99-00 front lips are interchangeable
96-98 rear lips will only be interchangeable on 96-98 coupes/sedans, hatchbacks have a different rear bumper
99-00 rear lips will only be interchangeable on 99-00 coupes/sedans, hatchbacks have a different rear bumper

Stock sideskirts are preferred to be used, don't get some ricey wide sideskirts, but to each his own if you like it get it. When you get lips, you want to get the polyurethane (PU) they're very flexible and don't crack like the ABS plastic, they're pretty tough and last as long as you take care of them. Since you have a 97, i'd recommend looking at the CTR/EK replica front lip for 96-98

Since you plan on getting a rear 99-00 bumper, any 99-00 rear lips are the same, USDM OEM/SI/CTR are the same

Good info, just to clarify the USDM OEM/Si lip will fit coupe/sedan and CTR will fit the hatchback. They aren't quite the same.
