Boost breaking up?

Why would my boost be breaking up between about 6 and 8k?

well we just got it semi-tuned tonight and it's starting boost about 5k - 8k but only at 3 pounds. I think we put the wrong wastegate on lol. but it was working when i left and now it's breaking up.

wastegate could be fudged up, or you could have a boost leak... or it could be something else

well were going to try and figure it out tonight when i go to the shop in a little bit. and my boy Nate tuned it, and before anybody starts saying "oh its because just some kid tuned it" no....Nate tunes for a few mechanics, etc lol.. he's the s**t.

ok so this morning it fully boosted all the way through 8k again and then when i turned it off and started the car later it was breaking up again. im thinking it's the wastegate.

p.s. i got a free blitz turbo timer from a rich kid who wants one that says "hks" lol

fouled plugs, bad gap, bad ignition coil, bad tune, bad igniter in dist. the list goes on and on. but those are the first things start witht his list and work your way back.

problem was solved...not tuned for vtec. unplugged the silenoid and it works like a charm need a new tune

thanks, not just to get my exhaust leak welded shut, and my downpipe bent so the flange lines up with the turbo. f**kin exhaust shop bent my pipe so it DIDNT line up and welded it to my cat lol.

thanks, havnt felt a pound of it since the build though. i've ran into all of these little problems and i have two unpaid tickets and christmas is coming. moms birthday in november, girlsfriends on dec. 1st. i dunno when im gonna feel it! lol. Maybe ill get an ACT 4puck for christmas and finish this project!
