boost controller?

ok when i wanna run hard on my setup ill kick it up to 10 psi....but to do that i have to get a boost controller right? where does it go? does it go here....http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i285/Turbo_Civic/turboboost.jpg

also how does it work? do i just turn it closewise to turn up boost? how much will i know to turn it up? is there any way of finding out other than a boost gauge....

i wanted to buy ones like those too but i heard they have boost creep..so i might just buy more reliable ones..

All manual boost controllers are variations of the same thing:

They apply tension to a ball checkvalve inside, to "resisrt" the boost pressure sensed in the line, and have a "weep" hole on the wastegate side to bleed off more pressure before it hits the wastegate.. Manual boost controllers do have a tendancy to "creep", but not enough to worry about, susally, in low-boost environments. This is more proned to occur in 12-14psi and up settings..

Although I will state, that my old XR4Ti ran 24psi using a "gillis"-type valve, with no boost-creep

i prefer boost controller like apexi or so.. that mechanicl boost controller it's possible you get some peak of boost and blown ur engine..
