i did something very similar. I was suppose to be on 8 pounds and was only boosting 3. Used this method, Problem solved...

if you want a simpler, cheaper setup than that, just take each charge pipe off one at a time, put a coupler on each end, and duct tape shut the coupler. then in one, poke a small hole in one peice of duct tape and shove in your air compressor and spray away. then spray the welds with soapy water.

Very similar to what was posted, just is a bit cheaper style.
