hi guys, i just got a turboed my ride last week and i got myself a greddy e-manage 2 days ago. i'm currently running on 0.7 to .8 boost bar. is it possible for me to run at 1.0 boost bar? i'm afraid the engine can't take up the punishment of the turbo.

.7 BAR is getting high to run on a stock engine, let alone 1 BAR. On a stock engine I'd be running .48-.55 BAR(7-8psi).

got traction

you got to remember that your stock motor probibly cant handle anything over 8 psi...max

ur stock motor depending on what it is will go easily to 10-11 lbs of boost......now i would not recomend running that boost everyday......run 7 lbs and u'll be good....our delsol vtec(b16a3) runs 8 lbs daily driven and 10.25lbs/ @ the track on stock internals

i would not advise you running 14-15 psi on your stock motor. your stock motor can handle 10psi daily.

you will need a 3bar map sensor to run over 11psi anyhow
but yea stock and emanage = keep teh boost down sucka

with all the words from these gentalmen, bar of boost is like 14.7 psi, talking about a ass load of boost, but either way have some fun boosting

sorry for the late replies guys, been busy looking for internal engine upgrades. by the way got my engine swapped out for a b18c around september, turboed my ride 2 weeks ago. i'm still hungry for power!
what i have in mind right now is to get a brand new camshaft, forged pistons and cam pulley. what do you guys think?

by the way i'm kinda lazy to start another thread, i was wondering that rides installed with TODA VTEC Killer Cams will have their VTEC engage all the time? anyone got a clear answer to this?

i tested my ride with a Mitsu Lan GSR 1.8 Turbo today. it's using the 4G93T engine if i'm not mistaken. standard drag 400m. was a close one but the lancer won the race. f**kin feel humiliated.

the lancer is awd.. run him from a roll or on a highway
of course he has the advantage froma stop but if its near stock then you suck

define cam pulley? you mean cam gears
what cams? make sure you get turbo ones

pistons and rods, id sleeve it to if you are going to have the bottom end open

what fuel and tuning you got, you can boost all you want but you need fuel

whats your set up
