can a boosted b16 with the b16 trans hit 5th gear in the 1/4 mile???

i raced some kid and i passed what i thought was the finishline and i was also in 5th gear so i let off, he then passes me and says that he beat me....that was the first time i ever hit 5th gear....i didnt short shift either...i hit every gear and reved to 9k everytime....was ahead then i let off because i figured i passed the finish line and im in 5th gear so ........wat do you guys think???

absolutely... if you top out 4th gear, 5th gear starts at around 5500 rpms @ 100mph. so just aim to a trap speed higher than 100 mph

Just To Add I Have A Delsol B16 Trans...is That SHorter Gearing Than The Si B16 Or Samething?
