boosting a mini me motor

i was just wanting to know, when the time comes will it be safe to boost my mini me motor? which is a y7 block and a y8 head. i do know i will need to build the bottom end and do head work.... the main question is will it be safe seance i swaped heads????....


NOTE not looking for really big numbers just something to get me down the road just a lil bit faster thanks guys and gales

It should be safe as long as the engine is in good condition.

why i asked was becouse of the swaped head from a non vtec to a vtec onto a non vtec bolck like i said i would do a complete rebuild with all kinda of goodies thanks for the input
