Afocal catalog at my new job trying to figure out if we are gonna replace the type r component with the Focal 165V3E polyglass three way component or the 165K2P K2 61/2 component. I think I am leaning more to the three way comp with the matching polyglass 6x9's in the back

give the focals a try...i just upgraded to the eclipse 6.5s...sweet...when i get my camera back i will post the tweeter pods i glassed for the front corners of the dash...are your type Rs 6 inch? if so how did you mount them? to the door or the door panel? it looks easy enought o just cut the plastic...but i kinda wanted a more sturdy mount...i have thought about just re-doing the entire corner of the door panel...

the fronts are 5/14 component. A little easier to get in without major door modifications. With the focals the 4 will go in the door with the 6 in a kick panel

you have me beat on the car stereo knowledge...i only worked in a shop for two years and went out on my own doing friends cars and one offs...but left it years ago...and only do work for GOOD friends now...

get the Focals...i am sure you wont be disappointed...

can i get a discount also?

sorry...half way done with nursing school...but i would love to get back in to it...working on my own car is fun...but its always nice to use someone elses money to be creative...

i liked sac town the last time i was there...i am trying to think of some of the places we went drinking and eating...
