I hate to hate buuttt, people i know have had bad experiences with DUAL stuff. I mean if you just want a basic system I guess it'll be alright but my friend (who's now my GF btw haha) wouldn't listen to me and got one cuz it was cheap. Same week my then girlfriend got an alpine (at my insistence) that was just $50 more. DUAL sounded pretty good but was out after like 3 months. replaced. again after 2 months.replaced. then lasted like 6 months untill she switched to an alpine. My ex's Alpine(as far as I know:lol: ) is still goin strong. They might've gotten better but i dunno. IMO I'll only get Alipine's, Pioneer's(my current), or Eclipse's. Anyway congrats man, hope it works out for ya.;)

edit: Oh and I say get an amp w built in crossover. Your speakers, and your ears will thank you. You wouldn't believe the differnece, esp. in tweakability(word?) in the sound.

Werd, I paid like $50 more for my alpine and couldnt be happier.... Ask any GOOD car audio dealer, not Best Buy, Circuit City or Tweeter and they will tell you the lovely stories about DUAL

My girlfriend has a Dual in her Cavi and it does just fine... She's had hers for around 5 or 6 months..

It's always funnt that people talk s**t about the chain stores. I have been ripped off by small GOOD shops more than a retail chain.

I can tell you stories about Eclipse having a 90% return rate cuz their s**t sucks. How crappy Kenwood amps are.
It's all in preference. Is Dual low end. Yes. Is it that bad. No.
Enjoy the deck dude.

yea it's a dual, they look nice and everything but my friend used to have a dual. it crapped out in a week. i'll never buy a dual deck. no offense. it could be just the model.
