bov for a4 1.8t

yeah i know this is not the audi forum.. but its just that their forum sucks... ive heard that putting a bov on a 1.8t was a no no.. is this true???

how about putting the chip on the ecu to get more boost from the turbo???

yes, they chip audi's.

my friend has a bov on his 02 v w gti 1.8t. he has had it on before he was chipped and after it runs great

yeah your not supposed to put bov's on vw's or audi's. i forgot what you could put on there. diverter valve? dump valve? something like that

Don't know much about audi's, but I have heard the story about bov's being bad for them, don't know how true it is though...I know a lot of people use diverter valves instead.
