if it is a real RFL bov then im guessing you arent running enough boost to make the RFL work properly. and where do you have the vacuum line hooked up to?

That is your problem right there. Get rid of that and get one that is not some Chinese junk.
For example, greddy, hks, turbonetics, apexi, tial, There are tons more but these are the ones i can think of off the top of my head

I honestly cant remember where the washers go its been a while sense i have had one apart. and 5psi is not very much for a rfl bov even if its a knock off.

my RFL didnt have any washers...if you wanted it stiffer you twisted the top down, and to make it softer you just twisted it up.

i would guess not enough vacuum or the screw is adjusted too tight. i pull mine from the brake booster.

on a side note, it's VERY important to get your boost gauge hooked up. if for whatever reason your wastegate doesn't open your engine wont last too long.

:word: The one my buddy had also came with washers too. He ran 8lbs on his setup and the RFL was still too stiff with no washers and all the way lose. just get a diff bov.
