Hey guys,

I have a tial f38mm with a 8.7 psi spring in it. And a tial 50mm BOV with an 11psi spring in it. When i shift below 11 psi of boost of course the BOV is not going to set off? Should i bring the bov spring to a lower one?

- 14 and -17 in/Hg White -9 Psi (-18 in/Hg )
-10 and -13 in/Hg Black -7 Psi (-14 in/Hg )

I am running 12PSI right now we plan to bring it up and have 3 different maps 1 for daily, 1 for track, 1 for having little in between.

Should i go with 9 or 7 psi?

Why not go with something like the HKS SSQV, where the boost pressure keeps the valve closed?

But anyway, there is no way for us to be able to tell you what spring you should use.
What you have to do is take a vacuum reading at idle with the engine warmed.
I haven't used Tial in forever, but I think this is how it goes.
If you're running at 22-24 in/Hg use the Pink spring
18-21 in/Hg use the Un-painted spring
14-17 in/Hg use the White spring
10-13 in/Hg use the Black spring.

But personally, I would go with the HKS SSQV because it saves the hassle of having to change springs.
