bov vacuum

my friend told me that i only need the top one to go to a vacuum source and the bottom one i should block off, i just wanted to make this clear before i put boost through the pipes and go oops, i guess it wasnt blowing off.

what kind of bov is that? are you sure the top piece is not for adjusting the release?

leave the top one alone. it doesnt do anything for you if youre not running a lot of boost. the one thats sticks out the side is the one you need to find a vacuum source for

alright so the one that is at a diagnol needs vacuum and the one that is sticking straight out is just there for big boost?

i dont know which ones youre referring to so here.



the one circled in green you dont want to touch. it doesnt need to be blocked off because it isnt "breathing". for low boost it should remain loose. for high boost you want to tighten that nut

the smaller nipple just leave open. the bigger one is the one you want going to a vac source

it was on the older models...

the new type R and type RS dont have it
