so the only post i found relating to this had no actual answer to the question. so when i hit my brakes my dash lights come on and my parking lights. all my wiring is straight factory, the problem is I swapped a manual tranny into and automatic chassis, does this sound like a brake light switch problem? I don't wanna waste the money on the switch bc i cant return it if its not the problem im just curious if im missing something in the swap process that may cause this. thnx

How did you wire the reverse lights? I remember when I did this I just ran 2 wires from the reverse light switch on the transmission to the plug under the shifter. Did you do something different?
i never messed with the reverse lights they have always worked just fine. my swap is also a b18b1 swap obd1. if it makes a difference. i also noticed someone posted a problem just like this in the interior section, that involves dash lights only when braking. maybe someone knows thnx
