brake light help

when i press the breaks it doesnt light up??theres a wire that was connected from somwere in the front of the car directly to the brake and i pulled it off one day by mistake, would any know were it would lead it??
and also my turn signals dont work but my hazards do??

did you mess with the under dash fuse box? same thing happened to me when installing my alarm... accidentally loosened one of the harnesses on the backside of the fuse box..... just snapped it back in place and blinkers worked fine
