Brake light on???

i dont know if its grounded or the brake switch on the pedal is damage but the rear light for brake are always on..i tried to remove the fuse under the dash but still turned on.. and the high mount brake light is not working..
what i did..i tried to disconnect the brake switch temporarily so that i wont run out of battery...
should i change the brake switch ??

The brake switch is bad. It sounds like the black knob on the switch is sticking.

i just checked the switch and theres no prob in it..the only thing that needs to be replaced is the rubber that holds it off if im not steppin on the brakes.. :
