got a problem i just picked up an integra with an ITR front end and it is an electrical nightmare.......what im stuck working on is my taillights being stuck permanantly on. Even after i turn the car off and take the key out. The only way im getting by is taking the positive terminal of the battery to kill all power including the brake lights. :???:

anyone have any ideas why the brake light is permanantly stuck? :?:

they are wired to a constant power source but i have no idea what it would be, I'd start at the taillights and just follow the wires and see what they are hooked up too.

Check the brake light sensor... Mine used to do that... And youd have to pull up on the brake pedal to get it to turn off...

yeah, start with the taillights and trace the wires till you find out where they are connected to.

kinda late but check your brake light switch its near the brake pedal there should be a rubber plug that pushes the switch so the lights will turn off and go on when the brake is pressed if there is nothing pushing on that switch the light will always be on you can either buy a new rubber plug and put it back in the hole or be cheap and put a small screw and nut through hope this helps
