Okay guys, I have a problem with my tail lights. Really hoping someone can help me.
Okay, so a couple of days ago my tail lights wouldnt go off, i had to turn the car back on and then off the get them off finally. That went away the next day.. dont know why though. Okay now here comes another problem, my parking brakes work but not the brake lights... I went to a mechanic and he check it and he said its not the brake light switch, he said something had broken on the tip or something like that? How can i fix this? He was trying to charge me 80 bucks, lol. Thanks.

Sex and Cars.
Easy fix. Happens to lots of Hondas and Japanese import vehicles. There is a little plastic pressure piece under the dash (where your feet go) where the brake pedal's bar hits against this piece and that triggers the brake lights. When you press the brakes the plastic pieces hits the button to turn the brake lights on. when you get off the brakes the plastic piece comes up and releases the button and your brake lights go off.

Basically, tape two pennies to the bar that holds the brake pedal (right where the bar comes into contact with the button that initiates the brake lights) and you have a stronger fix than that irritating plastic piece. You can use some other material (rather than two pennies) but that's worked for me for more than half a year now.
