Brake Pad Shaky

Hi Im new to this website, but I have a question, I have a 97 hatch and on the front of the brake pad slide everytime I drive on a bump and the back of the brake pad which is metal hit the caliper which making noise like two metal hittin each other and the brake pad slide but it is for my car and doesnt seem to fit the brake caliper like it is loose so it can slide in and out can someone help a noobie out ?

Sorry my brake pad doesnt seem to fit the brake caliper, and like everytime I drive over a bump my brake pad hit the brake caliper. Do you happen to know what is wrong with it ?The brake pad is made for the car.

im not sure if some terms are being confused b/c the pad is supposed to be on the caliper. are you confusing something with the rotor in here?

No when i remove my tire I can slide the brake pad in and out while the brake caliper still holding it

it turn out it was my rotors it was too thin
