Don't know about anyone else but when i brake on loose ground or a crappy road surface my brake pedal seems to 'disappear' from under my foot. The car still stops but it just doesn't feel right, i had new disks and pads installed when i first got the car. Oh yeah, it only happens when i'm really pushing the car (street racing), not just daily driving.

if its when you are pushing your car, i would say its just brake fade. get the rotors and pads hot enough, and your braking power will almost disappear(the reason the pedal sinks) you had new disk and pads, but what kind did you get? i would suggest you upgrade the pads and see how that helps. and also bleed your fluid, you may be boiling the fluid if your getting it too hot or got some air in there (air compresses, where the brake fluid does not, so when you press the pedal, it sinks b/c the air compresses b/4 it builds enough pressure to squeeze the rotors)

went to honda, the guy said its just the ABS and nothing to worry about, he said only worry if it doesn't stop!
