1st) We don't know what you are working on (trim, model, motor, modifications, what brakes you put on it, etc).

2nd) We don't know what "upgrade" you plan on doing (from what car, model, trim package, etc).

3rd) Would help if you linked these "blogs" that you got your information from if you want confirmation if they are actually correct. That or you are going to have to make an account on the other websites you got the information from and ask them if you can't provide the information for us to critique.

if switching from drum to disc rear brakes, yes you normally need to change the proportioning valve on the firewall. You likely have a 30/30 proportioning valve, and will need to change to a 40/40 valve. The 40/40 valve can usually be found on a 1990-1993 Integra. Because my car isn't equipped with ABS, I also upgraded my master cylinder as well (I pulled one from a 92-95 Civic EX that came standard with 4 wheel disc brakes, and no ABS). Sorry, I don't remember the size of my new master cylinder (perhaps 7/8ths?)

Sorry man,

Well have a OEM civic hatchback 93, swap integra LS 1994 B18B1, and rear disk brake upgrade from integra 94,
