broken bolts

ok i saw a thread posted about broken bolts and i thought i would get an answer from that but i think that guy broke his in a different place... i was changing the head gasket and i had no torque wrench and i didnt feel like i tightened the botls that much but one of them snapped the other day... does anyone have any ideas on how to get the broken part of the bolt out...the threads of the bolt are still in the hole and its deep enough so that there is nuthin to grab on to....i know tool companys make easy out drill bits that tap out broken bolts but they usually arent for work on cars...i would do thats but im afraid i might get shavings in the engine and it will seize and not turn over...then ill be really f**ked....i only wanna have to tow it to honda if its my last option but if anyone knows anything about this repair any advice is appreciated... thanx

i broke a bolt on my valve cover a few months ago. i thought i was f**ked but i got the threads out with a little pic. it was a lot easier than i thought it was gonna be, i just put the pic on the top and made little 1/2 turns till it was out far enough to grab onto and turn. but i dont know if your bolt will be that easy to get out...good luck
