Does anyone know offhand what brands of racing seats are pretty good and relatively cheap? I can't spend a lot on them, but they have to last. Thanks

apc is relatively cheap , its an up and comer in the seat business , then id have to say i dunno more top of line ones are ractive , sparco , bride is higher up , there are cheap ones on ebay for 2 of them for like 200 $

APC isn't an "up and comer" they are the low-end bargain brand. If you get any seats that aren't manufactured for your specific application you are going to run into a lot of bullshit with the universal brackets. I would personally prefer some GSR leather seats, but if you don't mind making your own modifcation to the seat brackets you can pick up some no-name racing buckets on ebay for pretty cheap.

you can get LS seats for less. 3rd gen Prelude seats are nice if you can find some in a decent color.
(the decent ones are all that nasty dark brown Honda used in the early 90s)

Jegs has racing seats for about 39.00.
Of course they are designed more to hold your butt in place over comfort.

normally you can get a set of tenzo R seats for about 450.00, plus shipping unless you live near them or find a shop that has them in stock.

i would just save up for some recaro's those are by far the best looking and pretty comfy.

I could always just get one good one for myself and leave the passanger seat alone. I shouldn't take a hundred-some-odd pounds of ballast with me autocrossing anyway Thanks for the input ya'll
