Build em2 or build another honda..?

Hi all..

Good info.. I have been reading some info here and on internet... always the same for d17 motors.. swap k20 or built it turbo...

Fews weeks ago I got a em2 2003 lx manual.. I like the car.. very good look.

But I was wondering.. if instead of build it turbo what about to buy an acura rsx ? or type S and spend the money on these car? what is better? ..

Which one is faster.. a d17 turbo with 200+ hp or and acura rsx or type S with some basic mod?


I want to build turbo but almost all the civic than are very fast are b16, or k, but only some few D... :s

I was wondering too if is better sell or get a old civic 1998 or 1999 or something with a b16 and buld it :s , how much should one spend to buld a b16 with turbo and reach 200 HP... is a very big difference in money or it is almost the same build b16 vs d17?

jeje i have been reading about civic 2001 2005.. this is my first honda.. I had spend a lot of time reading about many things of civic em2 es1, moreover I am new in US so I dont know so much about price.. only for the em2.. but maybe anothers know about other motors like b16, k and so on...

so, yeah, i had read a lot but for em2...

Anything dealing with the k series will be very expensive no doubt about that. You still have a lot of research to do there mikey.

Since your in miami, ask around for local shops.. MPautomotive.com for swaps is a great shop. JGautoworks is also another reputable shop. Do your research, make a decision, buy your next ride, then go from there to figure out your HP goals.

you should of bought a old civic for cheap...then build the motor in that for around 2k....then turbo'd it for another 2k.....then have lots of fun with boost
