Im just wonderin what the horsepower and torque numbers would be for a D16Z6 with rods and pistons, block guard, valve springs, retainers, turbo cam, basically fully built with a Greddy 15g Turbo kit on 12 psi of boost, with Hondata S200, 440 RC injectors, and walboro 255 fuel pump? and what clutch should i use to drive on the street? i was thinking Competition Clutch Stage 2?

if you build the bottom end you can add more boost :D @12psi I say around 210+whp depending on the tune, it's kind of hard to say. That's just my opinion tho

I'm running 8psi with my z6, a stock bottom end and have around 180 to the crank.

if you plan on beatin' on it a little, stage 3 clutch masters with 12 lbs competition flywheel should be a good combination

yeah, upgrade the clutch. but if u are truely building the bottom end..........screw the greddy kit. get a t3/t4 or gt28rs turbo cuz the 15g maxs at 250ish and the 19t maxs at 300ish. it would be a waste or lack of potential to build the bottom end and limit it to a small turbo. go bigger and boost more to get big number and results.

You can make a pretty good guess by looking at other similar setups. Just in the ball park range usually .

I would definitley throw something better than the greddy kit on there. There isn't really a point of even starting with it, if you are upgrading in the future. You would have to change manifolds/downpipes and such. I would just upgrade it right from the start. Then there isn't any messing around later on. Just my observation though. The greddy kits aren't bad for the street, but lack the flow for a built motor and lots of HP.

Just do what 90% of cc members do build ur own kit. Find a nice decent flowing log mani bolt up nothing smaller than an 18g mitsu turbo. Fuel mang is what makes or breaks ur build. See it first hand many times. Dont skimp out. Go with crome or neptune. ur motor will thank you. If your going for the full build why not get it sleeved? The stock sleeves are going to be a bottle neck in your motor around 300hp level and there done.

I agree with everything minus the last statement. The stock sleeves can take more than 300 on a good tune. Check out the Full-Race pinks car. I would probably stop around 350 on stock sleeves, but that is a lot of power for a D-series.

that was on a d16a6 block bro. they are definitely thicker than the newer D's.

also, NO, the block isn't going to be the limitting factor IMHO.

It will be the transmission which Bisimoto states will fail at 323whp... and race transmissions are not cheap at all... 15,000-19,000 bucks. f**k that.
