Buying and selling on this site

What should i know when buying on here, I wont really be selling but how do I ensure Im not just going to pay and never get the item if I buy on this site from the marketplace tab.

I wouldnt buy from someone with 10 posts for example... Things like that man...

yeah dont buy from rjmancia because i have still yet to receive a LS oil pan, that i dont need anymore since my car was stolen, from last year. I learned the hard way.

Wait, when you say marketplace tab.....are you referring to the "for sale" section where members can buy/sell parts, or the parts store through the site?

The for sale one, I was wondering because I saw a nice nitrous kit that I would have gotten but I wasnt sure of it was safe here and wanted others opinions.

ask for pics, look at post count, ask for vouches, use a credit card AND paypal ONLY, if they ask for any other form of payment make sure that the transaction happens in a face to face manner and you are walking away with your product, for cars make sure you get the title also, ask various questions that you already know the answer to but are testing their knowledge to see if they actually have the item. those are some of the rules i follow.

I THOUGHT, that getting the title was a given.......but some people here have proven me wrong.
