Ight I am looking into gettin two sets of component speakers. I just cant decide which to buy Cadence comps or Eclipse comps. I wanted to see if anyone on here has either of these and if yall do let me know how they sound. If you have any other sugg. just let me know cause i am open to pretty much anything as long as it is a component. Thanks.

My brother had Caidence in his audio truck, and I had Eclipses in my last Civic. The Eclipse speakers sounded better, but the Caidence subs hit harder. They're about even IMO...

a freind of mine had nothin but Cadence in his Grand Prix, and he used to rattle his spoiler off of his trunk at sound competitions with the two 12's. it was some crazy s**t

cadence is an excellent company offering high end audio equipment.
I ran an entire cadence system in one of my vehicles and loved it.
Thier speakers do require an though.

Eclipse is a little overpriced and underrated in my opinion. I would say comporable to the cadence line.
Cadence isnt going to charge you an arm and a leg for a name

cadence is crap in my experience.... matter of fact i have 3 sets of cadence components with bad various problems sitting in my shop at work

after one pair i had started to scratch'n pop i opened the undamaged one.... and wow... i'd compare the quality of their components and the workmanship of the build to sony...... cheap wire poorly wound for the vc and even worse connections

the quality of eclipse imo is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than cadence... but you pay more for it :what:

The only issues I ever had with any Cadence equipment was when thewy first released thier flat piston subs years ago. Went through like 5 of those f**kers till I got a set that worked. And they worked great.

Every piece of Eclipse equipment I have ever owned went bad. From $99.99 speakers to that $1600.00 six disc in dash changer. Crap in my opinion.

Go with Alpine and you can never go wrong

My friend has an Eclipse head unit in his Eclipse RS. The dayum h/u is probably worth as much as his whole car. lol. I'm impressed with the quality of the Fujitsu-ten Eclipse so far.

Slick Rick I was wondering what kind of eclipse equipment you had. Would you mind giving me a list of all the stuff you have?

I've lost faith in eclipse, I'm on my second one, 2 years old and its pissing me off. They're really good for the most part but there's always some little irritating thing that goes wrong.

I had a full Eclipse system before the summer (got stolen-damn thieves). I had the 4322 (for subs) and the 5422 5ch for my mids and highs...I HAD the comps also but my s**t got jacked before I got to put them in.

IMHO Eclipse is the best s**t out.

**edit** The H/U's are second to none.
