Where is it recommended to mount a EGT bung? I have a log manifold with the wastegate collector right in the middle of all runners.

Where is it recommended to mount a EGT bung? I have a log manifold with the wastegate collector right in the middle of all runners.

I would recommend mounting one in each runner if you could afford it. If your tuner knows what he is doing he shouldn't need an egt probe at all. He should be able to use a wideband oxygen sensor kit only.

If you only have one bung, I would install it to probe cylinder 3 as this is usually the hottest cylinder on honda/acura motors.
