camshaft for SC?

so im running a JRSC on a d16y7 with vitara pistons, eagle rods, my question is, do i need to replace the camshaft, and if so, which one should i use?

im running 10lbs of boost

you shouldnt "need to" but if you do, why not get a Y8 head since it has many more cam options than a Y7.

p.s. vitaras and h-beams with a JRSC? on a Y7? cool.

well i was considering a minime, but im not sure if hte supercharger will still fit?

anyone got info? if it would still fit id definitely go that route

yep, it will fit... D-sries parts are interchangeable with other D-series.

speaking of which, is it possible to do a mini me with a Y8/Z6 head, but not actually have VTEC, i.e. you just have hte head and stuff, but not hte VTEC capab. i.e. just a swap so you can use the Y8 comp cams?

yes, but the Vtec is a nice feature to have for the upper RPM range... since thats where civics make the most power.

I know you can get a turbo grind cam for a D16A6 from Exospeed, Gude, etc...

I don't know if you can use that cam on a D16Y7... I never messed with a Y7. Just Y8s.
