Can a oil return line go in a circle to the oil pan and not just stright down?

Ok well i have a question. My oil return line cant really go down to the oil pan because the line will crimp. So i kinda looped it around in a circle. I know the oil feed is pressurized and would work but is there enough force in the oil return to loop around into the oil pan. Lookie

With dsm injectors, you'll need to a resistor box (or sauter them in) and port out your injector holes.

You most always would want to use a steal braided line for oil return, over time that hose will deteriorate and case oil leaks and the like.

its an obd0 crx so i already have a resistor box.
I guess once the line starts leaking ill replace it. i cant use a steel braded line cause there isnt a way to get a fitting on the turbo side cause its a volvo turbo from the junkyard.

Ummm....why is your oil drain facing the block and not on the bottom? I'd suggest re-clocking the center section of the turbo so that the drain is facing downward. That'd be a good solution to most of your problem, the way that drain is now, I'd think that oil is going to get backed up and eventually blow the seals.

I was always under the impression that turbochargers were partially gravity drained.

Maybe I'm wrong....:what: ...but I doubt it...

That will not work either. The drain needs to be almost perpindicular to the ground. You can go in either direction 30*, if you go more you might have problems.

yea i was wondering the same thing, that oil return needs to point down. and if you still have crimping issues is try to get one of those molded hoses from an auto parts store
