Don't drive anything atm but might get something soon . Bidding on a honda civic ex

I wouldn't give more than $100 bucks for the car. You could have a couple of thousand in it before you even get to drive it, and then you have a $2000 dollar car. Just buy one that is in one piece so you can drive it. Unless you're not able to drive, and you are looking for a project to do until you get a license. Whatever you want to do, I guess.

Welcome to the site. What is your budget if you have one? Its hard to telll anyone to get a wrecked car, there could be so many hidden issues, like a small twist or bend in the frame will lead to thousands of dollars in other repairs. The first one makes a good project like most say but i would try to get something that works first, you can find good cars for 1k or less sometimes.

That other one will probably be a good bit of bodywork on the other one.
At least a door im pretty sure the fender and if bent the pillars alot more money.

It wouldn't be much, you can get that stuff from a junk yard. (You'd be surprised what you find in those places now a days, it can be quite the gold mine haha.) Have you checked out craigslist and stuff for one? I betcha there's probably a few good deals on there. I'd check it out.

You can use craigslist for anything now a days. Check local junkyards and what not. I strongly caution you to see the car in person if you can...if there is any frame damage or like emerican said if you have damage to the pillars its going to be hard to fix.

In just got a door from the local pick n pull for about $50. Stupid incosederate driver put a fatty dent in my door while I was in safeway. Like they said just search craigslist and bam http://www.picknpull.com/locations.aspx?View=Detail&ID=75 Pick n Pull's website, for the virginia beach pick n pull. Just search their inventory and see if they got the car you need
