cant see image on new monitor

i bought a new monitor today hooked it up, it powers on everything works but i dont get a signal from my dvd player i get the sound but the image isnt on the tv can anyone help me im starting to lose it

whats the monitor? if its cheap you might have a pre-fried video processor

sometimes you need to go into the menu and select the aux inputs, and you always have to hook up the e brake wire

would the ebrake wire be known as the "back of car wire"

nope that is your reverse lights fora back up camera

i hooked it up to another dvd player and reconected mine and now i get an image but its in black and white

well i went out to take anothere shot at it and it turns out my dvd palyer was on the wrong settings f**ked around alittle and bam it works so thanks to all
