so i got a audiobahn 1.2 farad cap and when i tried to install it, everything went well. then the next morning i tried to start my car and not thing happen, turn out my car battery was completely drain. I did some research and found that i was suppose to connect the remote wire from the Cap to the Amp so that when the amp is off my cap would be off too. but the thing is my cap do not have any remote wire connection on it. is there another way to solve this without the Cap sucking up all the juice from by battery. I did charge up the Cap properly. any comment would be great. thanks guys.

a capacitor will only draw a draw a current untill it is fully charged
sounds like the cap wasnt charged properly even though you thought it was, or something else is wrong

disconnect the cap and test it with a multimeter and see what it's putting out

caps arent really helpful.....get a better alternator with more amps......thats ur best bet....

anyways caps dont have wires that connect to a remote? i thought only a power and a ground was all it needed
