I would like to know what I should use to pince the ground wire into the capacitor? I've tried pliers and wrenchs, etc. I just can't get it pinched down. Any suggestions?

you cant use a terminal at the end of the wire?

Yeah they are called eyelets... put the wire into the eyelet, PINCH it closed then mount to the cap.
