car alarm

I'm wondering why my alarm goes off by it self sometimes....My car is in the garage and no one is touching it or anything and when it goes off i will go check up on it and nothin' is happining. I have an option alarm....can someone help me out with this?

well dependin on the alarm is could be a few things, ur cars batt is a lil low ( happens with mine ), ur remote batt are dead, my boy had a problem that his alarm would sound funny and go off by itself and it was a ground wire.. other then that im not sure, could just be the alarm..

who installed it? nd the installation is sooo important..the installer could have messed something up.
