Way too much fuel. I used a vortech FMU on my old sohc turbo setup and I was running wayy too rich, ended up just using stock fuel and worked out fine.

Oh yes, I remember when I installed my kit before I got it tuned I had that problem. Right after I installed it I had to change the injectors because that was the problem. I think dsm 450cc were too big so I went to 390's and they were still too big then I tried some toyota 310's and they worked fine and I'm still using them. There is a way to get your fmu running right but I can't help you there. I know a few foO's over here that use a fmu on their turbo kits and one crx was hittin low 13's with a fmu  stock internals with a 13b snail

You just have your set up all wrong DAWG. Let me take a crack at it. First off you need the missing link because the map sensor he seeing way to much air coming in and it's say "OH s**t what the hell am I to do with this." Second problem. GSR fuel pump is whack. Get a 255 walboro and call it a day. Run colder plugs.

DON'T GET A MISSING LINK! they are crap and don't work most of the time. Just get some 1-way check valves from your local pet store.

your running p28 maps on a y7 motor?
dont think thats gunna help you too much, if your gunna run it untuned use the ecu for the y7, or chip it and put in whatever maps are closest to the y7 from obd1

first off, get tuned. Secondly, if your using uberdata or are running < ~10psi, you dont need a missing link. Third, get rid of the gsr fuel pump as someone else stated earlier. Fourth, what CEL are you throwing? If it's running like "its not getting enough fuel or something" whynot change that? The biggest question here is:

Why does it sound like your suprised that your car is running like s**t when your not tuned? :what:
