do u know why it does this i have it chipped to obd1p28, when i hit the gas it goes up to 2000 rpm and the drops to 1000rpm then shoots back up. before i disconnect the bat it was fine any ideas? thanx oh ya its a 99 civic sohc vtec

checked the vac lines and they r fine from what i can tell.
could it be the new chip that i put in its a skunk2 chip
