Was there any coolant in the overflow tank?
Did you try just getting a new radiator cap?
Have you bled the radiator/cooling system before the upper hose 'blew up'?
Was the fan ever kicking in?

The coolant was full all the way around, the radiator cap is good its holding pressure, and I never bled the system befor how do I do that in a d16y7 auto, and the fan does kick on normaly, one guy on honda-tech said my head gasket is probly done from combustion of gases but im not so sure of that because this all happened for the first time yesterday and the day befor I wzs speeding all over town for appointments I had and 2 times I started the car and it was boggin like it wanted to give out but went to normal then yesterday I overheat for the first time and now here I am

holy run-on sentence...

but you're water pump probably would be the issue here...

If I understand this correctly, the temp spikes when you are stopped and then fluctuates when you are on and off the throttle while driving. this is a tell tale sign of a water pump going bad. Coupled with the " coolant not flowing normally" would tell me water pump.

while you're in there, do the timing belt too.

I did timing belt and water pump replacement about 7 months ago.
Main issue was that I couldn't get the crank pulley bolt off and ended up having to put everything back together.
I drove it to a service place and they charged me a small fee to loosen it so when I go back home I'd be able to remove it. All was well then; the dealer said $900. I spent about $225 for all the parts.
Later.

A new water pump doesn't mean it is any good. Sounds like a blockage in the radiator. For the upper hose to blow out that means the water had no where to go. Take the hoses off the radaitor and put the water hose in the top and see how your water flows out. Remove the thermostat and do the same thing with the hose in the neck on the head. The last thing to check us with the thermostat out and you have pushed water in the block, start the car, if the water pump works water will push out.
