Sup clubcivic I'm new hopefully I can get some help from you guys.
I drive a 99 civic lx automatic couple weeks ago my car was driving cool no problem whatsoever, then just couple days ago. I drove it and it won't drive pass 3500 rpm and it kinda bogs. So I did an oil change, spark plug wires/spark plugs/distributor and fuel filter change also. Still running the same, but it's not throwing any cel codes so I was hoping that it's because my cel don't work or something because I can get it fix, but I unplug my o2 sensors and other sensors and cel start coming on. I was getting frustrated so plugged all the sensors back in and the cel went off but still drive the same. Car starts up fine when it's cold then went it starts to warmup the car start to bog a little and shut off eventually. Could it be that the ecu is in limp mode? I did research and all I found was that it will only go in limp mode if you have a lot of cel codes. I have none, anything would be helpful.

How many miles are on your car? Have you ever done a timing belt? Sounds like it may be a tooth off? Also have you done a compression test?

If you unplug the primary O2 sensor and take the car for a drive, does the car run normal after it warms up?

Catholic converter? Is that someone that turns people onto Catholicism from other religions?

I am guessing you mean catalytic converter....at least I hope you do. Either way I don't think the guy is coming back and am guessing he figured it out as it's been a couple weeks now and he went silent.
