when i started my car this morning i noticed that the rpms fell quick to about 1k and sounded like it was missing. since then i started it again and started its regular warm up idle but i find about 2 feet of black s**t on the ground behind my muffler. last night i threw a map sensor code while driving home and i never turned it off and back on to clear it, i just drove it all the way home like it was. could all this black s**t be there because the code makes my car run extremely rich and since i didnt clear it out while driving it just baked on there over night? i dont want to drive it because it still sprays all kind of black s**t but also it doesnt smoke at all. its a t3 powered z6.
edit: i checked the plugs and they looked like they were running lean. but then i put my hand behind the exhaust and it painted my hand black and wet with gas. im guessing i fouled number 2 since it had the least amount of white on it. when you go to the parts store, you just ask for 2 step colder plugs, correct?

i dont know what youre asking. carbon buildup is a result of running rich. and yeah you can go to the autoparts store and ask for 2step colder plugs. they will know what youre talking about

Get some NGK bkr7e's. Thats a two step colder v-power plug. They might have too be ordered, well atleast where I work they do. We have the bkr6e's in stock though, 1 step colder.
