i am installing a catch can and need some help on the locations of the lines. i know you run one of the lines from the valve cover to the can but does the other line go to the manifold or the canister on the back of the block? ive searched and cannot find a good answer yet. i have found both ways but need clearification.
- if the lines goes to the canister, can i just attach it to the pcv valve, or is the pcv valve a one way deal.(the flow of the valve only has one direction- to the mani). i am skeptical with removing the pcv valve from the canister, it has given me problems in the past and broke trying to take it out leaving broken plastic in the canister and resulting in more work for something very stupid.
if it is to the mani, i will just block the pcv valve off. if possible will it hurt to run it to the top of pcv valve then the canister?
this will be going on an all motor beast 12.1 compression.
