my cd player stopped working on me for some reason, it still gets power to it since i can stick in and remove a CD but the face isnt lighting up or anything so no radio or cd plays..u guys have any idea whats wrong with it?

it started to do this when i took off the ghetto rigged fog lights from the previous owner of the car installed, from what i remember, he grounded it in the engine bay and ran the power a switch that ran from the fuse box...but the thing i dont get is why would u ghetto rig the cd player directly into the fuse box. there were other wires that ran into the fuse box to but i just unattached those since i didnt know where they were from but the fogs i completely took off.terceltyler said:when did it start doing this? did you make any mods to anything before this occured..is it a stock or aftermarket deck?
