okay, weird question. is it possible that my cd player in my car is scratching my cd's. 2 cd's that I've bought recently have been scratched to the point where they skip like crazy almost instantly. I wonder if maybe its from my headunit. Does that make any sense at all? one of them the scratches were all like lines kind of in the same direction across the cd like maybe from when it sucks it in? I dont know, just a theory, anyone have this happen before. I mean one cd i bought today, drove 4 hours to school and when i brought it in was scratched. It never really went anywhere and was either in the cd player or case the whole way. not that one cd is a big deal but i dont want to f**k up every cd i own either. I'll experiment later with a cd-r but just thought id ask if anyone had any ideas. JVC El Kameleon headunit btw

it sounds like your head unit is dirty inside, posibly to the point of scratching cd's. go buy a dry cleaning disc.

that's why I don't buy cd's anymore :D maybe if they were like $5 bucks I would. My cd case is what scratches my cd's tho but I have seen cd players f**k up cd's too. Just try cleaning it and if that doesn't work then just buy another cd player

cd's nutz in yo mouth beeyatch
