Cel 23 ks help!!!!

I am throwing cel 23. i recently just got new mounts that are stiff as s**t.

before i had stock mounts. i am now throwing cel 23 due to vibration. i never threw it before. here is what i have....

a jdm b16a with a d16y8 harness, and a p30 ecu. i forget what dizzy i have but i know that the dizzy has 3 sensors in it.- found this out from haynes manuals.

is there some kind of knock sensor in the dizzy?

i have never had my knock sensor wired up and have never thrown that code until now.

i am still cracking vtec and the car does no feel sluggish at all so i know the ks is not effecting anything. its just that stupid annoying light.

i have the knock sensor on the block but it is a two prong sensor. nothing for a clip to go on. i know the p30 ecu has a knock sensor.

so my question is, how can i eliminate this without being chipped?

i thought about wiring the ks up, but does anyone have a diy on how to?

i know the p30 ks wire is d3 but i need some info on how to wire that all to the 2 prong ks and whatnot.


been searching for the last 2 days and nothing. any help would be great.

check the knock sensor and make sure it is in the block solidly.. it is likely that the knock sensor was loose and now with the harder bushings you shook it even more loose causing the code.. that is the logical answer.. it is unlikely that it just went bad when you installed the bushings since they are not DIRECTLY related..

every now and then cell 22 comes on... vtec pressure something... i still crack tec though.

apologies I totally read that wrong... if i can think of something else I will let you know.. from what I just read the knock sensor is only ONE wire.. but again If i find out something more I can let you know..

I believe that CEL 22 indicates that there is inadequate oil to engage vtec.. double check your oil level.. there might be JUST enough that SOMETIMES the oil is sloshing around triggering the CEL, but other times it is high enough to NOT throw it.. in other words your oil might be too low.. but JUST too low that you don't throw the CEL EVERY time..
