CEL does not illuminate at all

Hey all!

I am having a lot of proglem with my car and one of them happens to be the fact that my CEL does not even flash when I start the car...

Is there a fuse for it? Could the wire have been cut?? I am wondering because I bought the car from a guy and he might have lied about stuff that was wrong with the car...

Check the bulb in the gauge cluster. Usually someone shady will remove it if the light stays on all the time so you don't know there's a problem. That's why when you start your car all the lights come on so you know they are working.
