CEL on and vtec will go out

I have an eg with a b16 and lately my vtec has been acting up..it works at time and then out of no where it goes out, also my cel goes on and it will also stop kicking in and a lot of emission is produced pleas help thanks

check your vtec wire sensor. it might have gone loose and not connect.

So I got the codes out I got code 10 and 23... Sorry I took a long ass time just been really busy

Code 23 is knock sensor. Your wire is broken that connects on the knock sensor. I always extend this one as its tight from factory. Code 10 is IAT. This is nothing to worry about, only when it comes to emissions and fuel economy.
