CEL Problem....need help!!!

I am trying to jump my ecu but the check engine light only comes on when i drive the vehicle for 30 mins and when i turn off the car and turn it back on...the check engine light will go off until another 30 mins or so....and i can't jump the code by using and paper clip....anyone know what i can do to find out the what code its throwing?? BTW: its running a OBD1 stock LS ecu with OBD2 to OBD1 converter harness....any help will be appreciated...

There is a plug under both of your seats, cut the 2 wires on the female end to get the plug out, then take the wires strip them down and twist them together.

This female clip will plug directly into the blue male clip to check your ECU code.

Screw the paperclip BS that only works half the time, this is easier, faster, and guaranteed to work every time.

Also, leave the car running when you check it after the code comes on.
