CEL trouble....help!!

Ok guys this is kinda of a two part question.Let me explain the reason why im having CEL problems, i changed my intake manifold w/ injectors, p.r., thewhole thing. Well went from the Y7 set up to the Y8.Got the set up from the wrecking yard. When i turned my car on, it sounded as if it were misfiring. I was like :wtf: Ok now the CEL, i went to turn the car off and of coarse noticed the light was on but...it was blinking over and over. Whats up with that?? :what: :cussing: Anyone got any ideas? Maybe the P.R. is f***ed up or the injectors. Thanks guys for the ideas and help. :beer:

run the code yet? did you use your existing injectors or the ones from the junk yard?

I used the injectors from the wrecking yard. Well everything thats comes with the intake manifold, injectors, P.R., rail....i replaced my Y7 set up for the Y8 set up. But as far as the CEL, ill have to see what code(s) its throwing. Ill let you guys know.

Did you use the manual Y8 manifold which has the 2-wire IACV? If so that is your problem. The Y7 has a 3-wire IACV and obviously won't plug into the 2-wire.

y8 injectors are 240cc. y7 injectors are 190cc. so if you are using the y7 head and have the y7 ecu, put your y7 injectors back in.

and as posted above, if it was a manual y8 intake manifold with a 2 wire iacv you will certainly have issues there if you're still on the p2e ecu
