Central Locking

A while back my passenger door became jammed and would not open, either with central locking or maunally. The mechanic pointed out an unit in the door panel was at fault and removed it, which I should have kept but did not.

Currently the door can open and lock/unlock manually but not via central locking,

is it the actuator that is at fault and is it 1 in the same as the cental locking control unit/mechanism?
