Changing Thottlebody on B18C

I just changed my throttle body from the 60mm stock one? to a 68mm one. Put it all together and started it up and now the engine management light is on. All the cables are connected properly and the original sensor was used and the gasket is on properly!
Is it because the ECU cant handle the extra airflow??
Will I have to go and get the car remapped now?

If somone could let me know that'd be great.

OK, if you used all of the original sensors, that sounds to me like you took the TPS off the old throttle body and put it on the new one.

If so, you have to adjust the tps so the voltage range is within spec. If it is out of spec it will throw a CEL.

Yeah I had to swap over the TPS and the IACV off the stock body, and had to use the original gasket but it was in really good condition, bloomin puppy chewed the new one as soon as I dropped it on the floor. I think it's a PK9 ECU which knowing my luck is exclusive to the MB6 B18c4 civics.

How do I go about adjusting the TPS anyway? I know its slotted and allows a certain amount of movement clockwise and anti clockwise, is that what your meaning?
I'm no mechanic, and was just hoping it was as simple as swapping stuff over.

My friend has a garage and they have a computer to plug in to find out what's throwing the error code, but I cant find the bloody diagnostic port anywhere!

Yes, you have to loosen the two screws or bolts holding it in.

Then adjust the throttle so it reads ~ .5 volts with the throttle closed.

To do this you jump two pins on the ecu harness. The TPS pin which is (D11) and the other lead needs to go to a ground.

So adjust the TPS sensor until your volt meter reads .5 volts and it will be in sync.
